Cabbage Soup

This combination of beef and spinach packs a powerful punch toward reducing inflammation and increasing metabolism by stimulating a unique detoxification pathway in the liver and gut!


1/2 lb. grassfed beef
1/2 chopped head of cabbage
1/2 cup raw spinach
1/2 Tbsp coconut oil
1/4 Onion, chopped to desired size
1 garic cloves, minced
2 fresh diced tomatoes (or 1 big cans diced tomatoes)
1/2 can tomato sauce
1/4 cup chicken, beef or vegetable broth
1 tsp Sea Salt or to taste within moderation
1/2 tsp ground pepper
Any other spice you'd like in moderation (dash of cayenne & turmeric are the best cleansing herbs for this dish)


Heat a Dutch oven or large skillet over medium-high heat.

Cook and stir beef and onion in the hot Dutch oven until browned and crumbly, about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain and discard grease.

Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, broth, garlic, salt, and pepper and bring to a boil.

Add cabbage and spinach. Cover Dutch oven, reduce heat, and simmer until cabbage is tender (about 30 minutes).

Crock Pot Instructions

Cook all ingredients (including raw beef) on LOW for 8-10 hours. Leave spinach and cabbage to be added 15-25 minutes before serving.

Tip: Leaving the spinach and cabbage for the last part of cooking ensures that they retain their highest quality cancer-fighting nutrients,
