This recipe pairs the best nutrients that reduce total body inflammation.
The B-Vitamin Complex's in the chicken with protein and goodfat adds an anti-inflammatory benefit when paired with Kale and Brussels. The minerals and loads of antioxidants contained in these foods also help to protect your cells from free-radical damage during your cleanselIngredients
4oz chicken breast
4 oz. of chopped Brussel Sprouts
1/4 cup of Coconut Aminos
1 handful of chopped kale
1 Tbsp of shallots (or 2Tbsp onion)
1 small garlic clove
1 Tbsp of coconut oil
Dash of your favorite hot sauce
Dash of Cayenne Pepper
Dash of Turmeric
Dash of Salt Dash of Black Pepper Preparation
Marinate the chicken in a bag or tupperware dish with Coconut Aminos, hot sauce, Cayenne, Turmeric, salt and pepper.
If you would like baked chicken and sprouts:
Toss everything into a greased skillet 9x12 and bake at 425 for about 30 minutes or until everything is cooked to your liking
If you would like sautéed chicken and sprouts:
Melt your coconut oil over Medium+ heat and toss everything into your skillet until it's all soft and golden brown.
Makes 1 serving.
Lemon Vinaigrette Dressing
For a wonderful little addition to this meal, mix together the following and enjoy 2 Tbsp per serving.
114 Cup of Olive Oil
1/8 Cup of Lemon Juice
1 TBSP of Dijon Mustard (any will do, but organic or stone ground are cleaner for cleanse)
Dash of Black Pepper and Sea Salt
