often called this wonderful soup, "The Gut Healer." The lentils give you the perfect combination of vegetable protein and fat while the other vegetables and okra provide fiber to scrape the gut and Colon.
This allows the "Reset" to occur on the walls of the gut-all while providing antioxidants during your cleanse.Ingredients
1/2 Cup Lentils (Green or Brown)
1/2 Cup Frozen/Fresh Okra
1 Cup Spinach Raw
1 TBSP Coconut Oil
1/4 Cup Carrots, shredded
1/4 Cup Onions, chopped
1/4 Cup Celery, chopped
2 Tomatoes, diced
1 quart organic Chicken Broth
1/2 teaspoon dried Thyme
1/2 teaspoon dried Oregano
Sea salt and ground Pepper to taste Preparation
In a large saucepan, sauté the onions, carrots, and celery in the coconut oil until onions Caramelize — about 10 minutes.
Then add the remaining ingredients and simmer on the stove for about 30 minutes or until tender.
Makes about five 1-cup servings.
